Digital twins of industrial machinery

Shipping a machine to a trade show, stopping a line to train new technicians or flying a prototype to another country costs time and money. Wide VR builds photorealistic, real-time 3D replicas of machinery and products from your CAD files, optimised to run smoothly on a PC, in the browser or on a VR headset.

What we build

  • Multiplayer VR training: technicians learn components and practise maintenance procedures together, safely, in a virtual space that replicates the real machine.
  • Trade show and B2B sales tools: interactive 3D and VR presentations of machines that are too big, heavy or complex to bring to a stand.
  • Remote collaboration: shared real-time 3D sessions where teams in different countries review products and components together.
  • One asset, many outputs: the same digital twin can run on a VR headset, on a PC or in the browser, in WebGL or 3D cloud streaming.

Selected projects

  • Italtherm: multiplayer VR for industrial heating and cooling machinery, used for training, maintenance, trade shows and B2B sales.
  • Luxottica: a multiplayer VR office (2024) where around 400 engineers in different countries review eyewear and its components in real-time 3D.
